AMRU4

Platform Description

The AMRU4 represents an intermediate step in the evolution process of the designs of our prototype walking robots. It is a pneumatically actuated platform with 2 independent frames, using sliding motions to position 4 contact points at the soil.

The robot is intended to be used as a demining robot and is therefore equipped with a lateral arm with a metal detector.
