Platform Description

Pioneer 3 AT RobotThe Pioneer 3 AT is our current indoor (and not-too-rough outdoor) research platform.

This platform is commercialized by MobileRobots. It is an electric-drive robotic system with multiple on-board sensor systems: Laser, pan-tilt camera, ultrasound sensors, ...

It is mainly used for investigating simultaneous localization and mapping techniques and robot navigation, as well as multi-robot collaboration approaches.
