Autonomous Systems unit of the Department of Mechanics of the Belgian Royal Military Academy.<span style=\"font-style: inherit;\">\u00a0Her research focuses on the development of AI and robotic solutions applied to UAVs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">She received her <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsi.us.es\/grado\/GIERM\">BEng in Electronics, Robotics and Mechatronics<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> from the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsi.us.es\/\">Escuela T\u00e9cnica Superior de Ingenier\u00eda (Universidad de Sevilla)<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> in 2020 and her <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"http:\/\/dia.fi.upm.es\/es\/master\">Master\u2019s Degree in Artificial Intelligence<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> from <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.upm.es\/\">Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> in 2022. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">While she was finalizing her Bachelor studies, she started working at <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"http:\/\/vesrobotics.com\/\">Vertical Engineering Solutions SRL<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> where she was in charge of the development of software algorithms for the autonomous control and perception of UAVs, which included not only the programming of set algorithms but also the integration of sensors and actuators in the system. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In 2022, Ana joined the Belgian Royal Military Academy to participate in the <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><a href=\"https:\/\/mecatron.rma.ac.be\/index.php\/projects\/hadron\/\">HADRON<\/a><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"> project that aims to render the use of drones easier for pilots, through the development of robotic and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"aLF-aPX-K0-aPE\">\n<p class=\"aLF-aPX-K0-aPE\">\n<p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-741523 kc_col-sm-1 kc_column kc_col-sm-1\"><div class=\"kc-col-container\"><div class=\"kc-elm kc-css-464169 kc-raw-code\"><script src=\"https:\/\/kit.fontawesome.com\/5feed4ac07.js\" crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<link rel=\"stylesheet\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.rawgit.com\/jpswalsh\/academicons\/master\/css\/academicons.min.css\">\r\n<span style=\"font-size: 36px;
