His doctoral thesis was intitled &#8220;<a id=\"OWAd03af273-bce4-4202-a2b5-c469ade97150\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" title=\"https:\/\/theses.fr\/2023AIXM0143\" href=\"https:\/\/theses.fr\/2023AIXM0143\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"4\">OrigaBot: origami-based reconfigurable robots for multi-modal locomotion<\/a>&#8220;.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">During his PhD, Evandro worked in collaboration with the\u00a0<a id=\"OWA074edcdd-494b-f353-edfb-c79a90f076df\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" title=\"https:\/\/icube.unistra.fr\/en\/\" href=\"https:\/\/icube.unistra.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"5\">iCube<\/a>\u00a0laboratory from the University of Strasbourg and\u00a0<a id=\"OWAee55d948-12ad-6609-31e4-ea7c14316da5\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" title=\"https:\/\/www.femto-st.fr\/en\" href=\"https:\/\/www.femto-st.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"6\">FEMTO-ST<\/a>\u00a0in the OrigaBot project, which aimed to\u00a0develop an innovative mobile robot based on a new family of origami structures. His contributions included the design of origami-based structures and the analysis, simulation and non-linear control of a flying monorotor.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\u00a0<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Evandro joined the RMA in 2026 to participate in the\u00a0<a id=\"OWA854d5a02-12b2-f265-c832-70b718078f36\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink\" title=\"https:\/\/imugs.eu\/imugs2-consortium\/\" href=\"https:\/\/imugs.eu\/imugs2-consortium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"7\">iMUGS2<\/a>\u00a0project, a follow-up to iMUGS, aiming at developing a modular, standardized, and open system architecture for manned-unmanned team of robots to support armed forces on the field.
