Ethan is a researcher in robotics and computer vision at the Robotics & Autonomous Systems laboratory at the Royal Military Academy. He completed a dual master in Mechatronics, with a focus towards electronics, and Mathematical engineering at the Universit\u00e9 Catholique de Louvain. His master thesis focused on reconstructing 3D scenes from images with known positions, aimed at giving robots the ability to perceive the obstacles in front of them using onboard cameras.<\/div>\n

Ethan joined RMA in 2025 to work on the DREAM project, aimed at enhancing reconnaissance and mapping operations using unmanned ground robots equipped with robotic arms and a VR command console. The project focuses on integrating these technologies to create a system that promotes accurate, efficient and user-friendly situational awareness.<\/div>\n
