From Curiosity to Craft<\/b><\/div>\n
I was that kid who took apart every toy just to see what was inside \u2014 and somehow never quite stopped doing it.<\/div>\n
Early spark \u2014 reverse engineering at 13<\/b>\u00a0By thirteen I had taught myself how to flash custom firmware onto PlayStation Portables, learning how operating systems read and integrate graphical assets. It was here that I first picked up Photoshop, beginning what would become a deep and lasting relationship with graphic design.<\/div>\n
Five years building the foundation \u2014 Electronics & Electrotechnics<\/b>\u00a0I completed a five-year technical diploma in Electronics and Electrotechnics, where I built solid foundations in electronics, electrical engineering, and electromechanics. This formal training gave me the theoretical and practical framework that underpins everything I do today.<\/div>\n
Graphic design, photography & web development<\/b>\u00a0Alongside my studies, I worked as a freelance web designer, building and modernising websites for local businesses. During this period I developed a deep understanding of web technologies \u2014 designing sites from scratch, managing CMS platforms, handling databases, and witnessing first-hand the transition from legacy HTML to HTML5. Photography became another passion, further sharpening my eye for composition and visual quality.<\/div>\n
Hands-on in the real world<\/b>\u00a0After graduating, I spent two years in industrial refrigeration \u2014 diagnosing faults in complex electromechanical systems, soldering copper, repairing delicate mechanisms in industrial machinery. This period gave me a precision and calmness under pressure that no classroom could have taught.<\/div>\n
10 years of professional precision<\/b>\u00a0From 2014, I spent a decade at the largest printing company in my region, working in the label printing sector. Tight deadlines, high volumes, millimetre-level accuracy every day \u2014 preparing and designing graphic files and managing client relationships directly.<\/div>\n
Today \u2014 UAV Technician at RMA Brussels<\/b>\u00a0I am currently a drone technician at the Royal Military Academy of Brussels, within the MECA department \u2014 where I apply my full range of technical skills in a demanding, cutting-edge environment.<\/div>\n
Technology as a constant<\/b>\u00a0Outside of work, technology is never far away. I build and configure drones, design and 3D print custom gadgets and components. I capture cinematic footage with professional UAV systems, and develop custom embedded solutions using platforms like NodeMCU and Arduino. Whether it is electronics, firmware, mechanics, or design \u2014 I am always building something.<\/div>\n
What I bring is not a degree<\/b>\u00a0\u2014 it is decades of hands-on experience across electronics, software, design, and fabrication, combined with the ability to pick up any new technology and run with it and never being satisfied with “good enough.\"<\/div>\n
