Short CV:

Sid Ahmed Berrabah was born on May 25, 1972 in Tlemcen, Algeria.  He received the degree in Electronics and Systems' Control Engineering as well as the post-graduate master degree in Signals and Systems from Tlemcen University, Algeria, in 1994 and 1996 respectively.

From November 1997 to October 2002, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the faculty of Engineering Science, Tlemcen University.

In October 2002, he started pursuing the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Electronics and Information Processing (ETRO), VUB, Belgium.

In March 2007, he joined the department of Mechanics at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) of Belgium, where he is currently employed as a researcher.

His research interests include:  Motion Analysis, Map Building, and Soft Computing for Mobile Robot Navigation.
