Research

The Robotics & Autonomous Systems unit of the Belgian Royal Military Academy provides robotic solutions for the security challenges in the world today.

Research at the Robotics and Autonomous Systems unit is focused on the research questions that arise when multiple robotic systems and humans need to work together. This spans research on human factors related to the use of robotic tools to the study of heterogeneous collaboration strategies between multi-domain (air-ground-sea) robotic teams.

Our research unit is also not blind to the potential negative aspects of robotic technology; therefore we also conduct research on methodologies to counter the malicious use of robotic technology.
