Luis Carpi is a Robotics Technician with a specialization in advanced robotic systems, automation strategies, and machine learning. He transitioned into the field of robotics in 2024, leveraging an interdisciplinary background in mechatronics, systems engineering, and economics. His expertise spans robotics frameworks such as ROS2, computer vision, neural network training, and IoT device development. Notable achievements include leading a team in the Bosch Future Mobility Challenge to develop autonomous systems for self-driving cars and integrating ChatGPT into a robotic arm, encompassing kinematics, ROS configuration, and full systems control.
His academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Mechatronics, a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of North Texas, and advanced training in C++ programming from NYU. He combines technical skills in SolidWorks, Simulink, Python, and AWS with 7 years of corporate finance experience, offering a versatile approach to problem-solving across fields.
